In order to receive this assistance, your family must NOT be engaged in breeding pets or in using them for illegal activities.   You must agree to maintain your pets in healthy condition.   Finally, you must agree to use the pet food which you are given to feed YOUR pets.  You cannot sell or barter the pet food for other products.

Spay/Neuter Assistance

HOPE has spayed and neutered 2453 pets since January 2007.

HOPE offers spay/neuter assistance to families who demonstrate a need for financial help.  Whenever possible, HOPE encourages the family to make a co-payment to assist with spay/neuter charges.    HOPE strongly recommends that all pets be spayed or neutered to eliminate unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.

If you need financial assistance with getting your pet spayed or neutered, please call Karen at 740-625-6748

Assistance with Pet Medical Costs

HOPE has assisted owners of 714 pets with pet medical costs since January 2008.

HOPE can also provide limited monetary assistance for pet medical costs which exceed the financial capabilities of low-income pet owners. Whenever possible, HOPE encourages the family to make a co-payment to assist with payment of these costs.  If you need financial assistance with pet medical costs, call Karen at 740-625-6748.
