The mission of HOPE is to promote the humane treatment of companion animals through
protection, rescue, placement, owner education, sterilization programs and assistance to
low income owners. Heart
of Ohio PEts (HOPE) has been serving pet owners needs in Centerburg and Central Ohio since
2004.

Please spay and neuter your
pets so they do not produce unwanted litters.
HOPE welcomes donations of money, pet food and supplies.
Pet food and supplies can be deliverd to ISS, 40 North clayton Street, 740-625-5940 and
should be delivered during business hours.

HOPE has:
o Distributed pet food and cat litter on an ongoing basis to
ISS clients & other pet owners in need.
o Spayed and neutered more than 2586 cats and dogs
between 2007 and 2023
o Assisted owners of 812 pets with costs of medical
care since January 2008
o Provided temporary housing for pets while their
owners were hospitalized
o Raised funds through grants, corporate and individual
contributions and participation in community events
o Rehomed 902 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in 2007 to 2020;
358 in 2007; 286 in 2008; 182 in 2009; 99 in 2010;
116 in 2011, 84 in 20012,115

130 in 2015, 114 in 2016, 138 in 2017, 140 in 218, 86
