The mission of HOPE is to promote the humane treatment of companion animals through protection, rescue, placement, owner education, sterilization programs and assistance to low income owners.

Heart of Ohio PEts (HOPE) has been serving pet owners needs in Centerburg and Central Ohio since 2005.

With the current state of the economy, and the resulting increased load we are carrying with assistance for pets and owners, we desperately need donations.
We receive no county or federal funds. We depend on your generous contributions to continue our work. Make a donation today easily,coveniently,and safely by clicking on the PayPal button below.
 
In addition to monetary donations, we will accept pet food and/or supplies. Donations, which are TAX DEDUCTIBLE, may be mailed to:

Please spay and neuter your pets so they do not produce unwanted litters.

HOPE welcomes donations of money, pet food and supplies. Pet food and supplies can be deliverd to Lazy Pup Corral Pet Boarding after first calling David Faust at 740-625-6363. Donation pickup is available.

HOPE has:
o  Distributed over 50,000 pounds of cat and dog food
o  Spayed and neutered more than 1220 cats and dogs
    since January 2007
o  Assisted owners of 135 pets with costs of medical
    care since January 2008
o  Provided temporary housing for pets while their
    owners were hospitalized
o  Raised funds through grants, corporate and individual
    contributions and participation in community events
o  Rehomed 258 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in 2006;
    358 in 2007; 286 in 2008; 182 in 2009; 99 in 2010; 27 to
    to date in 2011.
